• Q. How do I know if I qualify for this free service?

  Click on "See if you are eligible" and enter your address and you'll see if you qualify for free internet. 

• Q. How were addresses selected to get the service?

  Eligibility was determined by the Hawaii Department of Transportation based on need and the potential of connections to improve statewide communications infrastructure. 

  Additionally, addresses which are already part of areas enabled through the Rural Development Fund or the Connect America Fund are ineligible for funding through HI Connect, but may be eligible for other programs.  More information on these programs can be found here.
